IS Going Back online May 30th!

Its Been a While... Most of you have probably wondered what happened to MCVillage, at least those of you who are still left and check this page (which is probably about no one). But anwyway, the truth is that MCVillage died over these past few months and was probably never going to get back up again until recently when I had something change my mind. I thought about it a bit and I felt that it would be only right to give it a second chance and ressurrect MCVillage from the dead. So, the server will be online and completely functional by the 30th of May and I look forward to seeing you all there. Its probably going to take a while before it gets back on its feet so I ask the few of you who read this to be patient and please come back when we go online again for the first time in a couple months

Its Updated I finally got around to updating the server today and it is just about back to normal except for a few changes. The changes are not in-game changes but there is a change in the IP that is rather Important. I recently got a new router that greatly improved my interenet but it also changed the IP of the server from 72.42.81.209:25565 to 72.42.81.253:25565 but you should also be cable to use mcvillage.zapto.org if you want because that one will never change since I can always modify which IP it points too.

Server Update I am aware that minecraft 1.2 came out recently and than bukkit has already released a build compatable with this, but since I just got back from Spain today on the 5th having left before MC 1.2 came out I have not been able to update the server. I tried to tonight but I had having some problems that I am sure will work themselves out tomorrow when I get some more time to work on it. So, be patient and don't lose hope :P.

Finally Updated I finally did get around to updating the server and getting most of what we had before to work but, as usual, there are a few things that need time to be fixed because either the plugin has not updated or the craftbukkit.jar is somewhat glitchy which I think is partially the current problem. I did decide to keep the map, so you will just have to travel a ways off the previously generated map to find a jungle or whatever new in 1.2 that you are looking for. Also, I got the basics such as essentials, GM, and all the chat formatting as well as MCMMO working fine. As for the chat formatting, I made a few minor changes in the prefixes that made them shorter and, in my opinion, better looking. For example: [Admin] would now be just [A]
I did all of this without plugins that the server previously needed to your server experince should be more lag-free and enjoyable than before. A few of the things that are not currently installed are all of the economy plugins asuch as IConomy and ChestShop because they need to be updated since the new creaftbukkit build is really picky about plugins being updated. Thats about it, and sooner than later everythign will be back to its normal functioning state. If you find anything wrong with the server that just recently started or has been present for some time please report the plorblem to me so I can fix it quickly by either sending me a message on the forums or by sending me an email to: evanbusse@gmail.com

New Web Design As you probably noticed I made a new theme for the website and kind of "cleaned it up" a bit. I'm just one of those people who gets tired of things really fast and needs to make something new to replace it. Anyway, I hope you like it. The server seems to be running well minus a few greifings here and there which we will soon be able to track again with Hawkeye since BBMichael is much more tech savvy than I and will be able to get the MySQL database up within the week. Also I would like to thank those of you who recently donated and the ones who already have because soon I wil be buying more RAM to make your gaming experience better.
